The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Police Officer Standards and Training Council’s Field Services Training Division, in partnership with the University of Connecticut (UCONN) and the Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office, is offering a training seminar titled Cannabis Impairment Detection.

Students successfully completing this course will receive 6 hours Review Training Credit in area 610 (Impaired Driving)

This seminar focuses on training personnel to become familiar with the impairment of motor vehicle operators who have used THC and/or alcohol prior to operation of a vehicle.

5. Q&A Session with Lab Participants

There is no tuition for this course.  Lunch may be purchased at local restaurants.  The uniform Dress Code for POST In-Service training (General Notice 23-02) will be in effect.
